As a member of the West Orange High School Hall of Fame, Anthony knew athletics would play a significant role in his life. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. In addition to his good grades, Anthony was quite active in athletics and was a member of the varsity baseball team.
In 1990, he graduated from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law with a law degree. Anthony then spent several years as a public advocate for the Township of West Orange Planning Board and Board of Adjustment, where he gained valuable experience. He also worked as a public defender for the Township of West Orange’s Municipal Court. After obtaining extensive experience, he was ready to go out on his own. Anthony established the Law Offices of Anthony N. Picillo in 1993.
When Anthony has spare time, his love for baseball is never far from his mind. As a Caldwell minor league coach and member of the Board of Directors for the past two decades, Picillo has enhanced the lives of those around him. Anthony likes working with players of all levels, from elementary school to high school, in addition to coaching young children. Anthony is constantly striving to improve himself, whether intellectually or physically. As a licensed Parisi coach, he uses their secret formula to improve his awareness of his own body’s skills in speed and sports performance, which is based on science and sports psychology.
